The Champions League final 2011 is finally here. Man United v Barca, two great teams are going to battle it out for 90 mins or more to clench the title that every football team strives for every season. Both teams have already tasted some success by becoming champions in their league, it's a glorious season for Man United having won their 19th league title exceeding their rivals title Liverpool who have 18 titles.
Man United's 40 yr old goalkeeper Edwin Van Der Sar is retiring at the end of the season after a long spell at Man United. The 40 yr old has been outstanding through out the season after producing incredible saves that have helped his team to success. He surely will be missed but who will be a good enough replacement for him, we'll just have to keep our eyes peeled in the summer transfer window.
Both teams met back in the Champions League final in 2009 and saw Barca come out as the upper dogs, after beating Man United 2-0 with Lionel Messi and Samuel eto'o on the score sheet. Man United will be looking revenge and to win their 4th Champions League title but must strive for it as Barca are looking for their 3rd Champions League title. The final is taking place at Wembley stadium in London, england on may 28th. The Stadium has a capacity of 90,000, this will be enough for the supporters to create a great atmosphere.
Both teams have worked hard to make it to the Final and it's up to the players to show how much they want to win the title. Football is a great sport and it brings family and friends together and this is one of those moments. Who will come out as Champions this year ?
